Little advice for losing weight

Hello,

I'm new here so first I thought I may introduce myself

I'm a 20 year old male from the UK and I have a heavy interest in learning new and interesting things. I've read a few thousand pages of losing weight/training/diet/muscle building books but I'm not 100% sure on what exactly is right, so I though I'd post here if you don't mind

I'm looking for a diet and a home workout plan (issues stopping me from going to the gym at current) I've been doing something the past few weeks which I've assembled myself with advice from various books. It isn't much but it's something I suppose :p

Here is my home workout plan currently:

Everyday

  • 15 Lying hip thrusts
  • 15 Ab crunches
  • Rest 10 secs
  • 10 Lying hip thrust
  • 10 ab crunches (as fast as you can)
  • 1 minute rest
  • 15 Lying cross-crunches – right side
  • 1 minute rest
  • 15 Lying cross-crunches – left side

Monday

Back and Chest x2 sets

  • 20 DB bent rows
  • 1 minutes rest
  • 20 flat bench press
  • 1 minute rest
  • 10 push-ups

Wednesday

Legs, Calves and Shoulders x2 sets
  • 15 DB squat
  • 1 minute rest
  • 15 Standing DB shoulder press
  • 1 minute rest
  • 15 Standing calf raise
Friday

Biceps and Triceps x2 sets

  • 20 DB standing curl
  • 1 minute rest
  • 20 DB triceps kickback
  • 1 minute rest
  • 20 squat
This doesn't push me very much and I'm looking for 1) Keep my strength if possible improve it 2) Lose 3.04 Stone (42.56 Pounds) of fat. I only have dumbbells handy which are only 5kg ; but I can improve these. I've also started walking 3 miles a day, not sure how much the walking will help, but hopefully it will do something

Diet Wise I'm not 100% sure, I know the importance of protein and healthy fat. Not sure on the proper course of carbohydrates though.

So if you could help me with my daily diet that would be great. Currently I try to avoid starchy carbohydrates and anything with saturated fat or excessive fat. I drink 8~10 pints of water a day and on most occasions 3~5 fruit (apples and bananas). I consider myself very healthy it's just I would like to shift the last 3 stone of fat which I do not want.

If you've got this far! that's allot for reading

My Stats are:

Age: 20
Gender: Male
Height:6'1
Weight: 16 Stone
Body Fat: 19% - 42.56 lbs - 19.30 kg

Thanks allot for any reply.
