Body For Life Nutrition Principles

Hi All, My goal is to strip body fat and I used to weigh and write down everything I ate. However, will the 'Body for Life' nutrition principle be good enough to cut it?

Basically, All I do is eat a wholesome balanced diet and I keep the portions sizes low (size of cleanched fist per food group).

My diet consists of the following:

Plenty of water
Porridge oats / skimmed milk
vegatables
Fruit (apples, oranges, pears)
Chicken, Ham, Beef
Coley/Cod/Salmon
Olive Oil/Flax oil
organic rye bread
Sweet / baked pototoes
Eggs

I also throw in a Myoplex Diet bar or MetRX/Mylopex MRP and Protein shakes.

I eat every two hours and do 20 mins high intensity cardio 6 times a week and weights 3 times a week.

Re: Body For Life Nutrition Principles

Sounds good mate, keep protein approx 1.5g per lb of bodyweight, limit your carbs and keep them complex and unrefined.
Good fats (EFA's from nuts etc) are important too

BFL is good, but don't rely on supplements like it tells you it is simply a way of lining EAS' pockets.

That cardio schedule is very good but a little catabolic. I found it best twice a week mixed with steady state cardio.

Good Luck
