Caliper Help

I got some Calipers today and have followed the guide both in the booklet and online and have tried to be as harsh as I can so not to try and fool myself and get the right reading. The thing is it keeos coming up with my bodyfat being 9 to 10% and I dont think I'm that low. Tried doing different methods and all come out the same. I have an outline to my top 4 stomach muscles and the lines down the side but only in certain light so surely its wrong. Any help please on get the right reading.

Re: Caliper Help

if theyre the accumeasure ones then i know what you mean. according to them im 6 percent but i only have abs in certain light.

id say i was around 10% tbh, i deffo think 6% is a bit optimistic for me.

what i dont trust is the fact you only take one measurement from just above your hip. for example, my mate has a full blown six pack but he has the same amount of fat as me on his obliques so we get the same reading.

i have a 5mm skin fold on my obliques but its around 10-12 near my belly button. i suppose genetics count for a lot

Re: Caliper Help

The guide I used you had to measure your stomach, just above the hip, bicep, tricep, calf, back both high and low, thigh and chest and they all kept coming out the same. I'm just gonna have to use them as a guide and just see the measurements hopfully fall untill I get where I want.
