Work This Out...Please Help Knowledgeable People!

when i got put on my medication(venlofaxine+olanzapine) i seemed to gain weight easily up until 18 stone, but the thing is it makes me sleep a lot, so some days my activity would be like this:

6pm wake up
8pm gym
2am sleep

so thats 8 hours awake, so as you can imagine i don't get in too many meals, breakfast, post workout, then 2 more meals before bed. since i dont eat much i tend to bang a lot of protein in every meal so its at least 60g protein per meal, minimal carbs(refeed every 4 days),minimal fats. so 4 meals we're talking in the ballpark of 2500-3000 calories MAX, now for a 18 stone person im fully aware thats not a lot..but my weight didnt fluctuate, anyone i went on dnp for 2 weeks and lost a total of 7lbs (water+glycogen taken away) so now im sitting at 17 stone 4-8(depending on time of weigh in)

this week ive started prebreakfast cardio for 50 mins at 65% heart rate
plus an extra cardio session in the evening every 4th day.

im working on getting up earlier (it's really hard for me as my medication REALLY sedates me.) (before we got the dose lowered i once slept for 36 hours!!!imagine that if you will!!) so that i have more time to eat during the day and in general to do things!

does anyone have an idea on whats going on with my body? is it just that my metabolism is VERY slow?(should i get it tested?) another thing is ive been on and off (PWO Only)using insulin since christmas could it be that i've become insulin resistant? i have no problem with using more dnp to get down to a lower weight but the sides really aren't pleasent lol.

no judging or insults please, advice appreciated. i'll read this in a couple days because i'm moving house at the moment! thanks guys!

I am not a doctor and I know nothing about venlofaxine+olanzapine so your questions about them are probably best directed to your GP.

However, if I were you, before I jumped into taking DNP (or any weight-loss drugs), I would measure the gap beteeen the calories I was taking in and the calories I was burning. Try wearing a chest strap from the time you wake in the morning to the time you go to bed at night.

You say you take in 2500-3000 cals daily. It could be you need to make more a gap between consumption and burning.

Once you have established via the heart moniter your daily calorie consumption, design your diet from there.

There are different figures bandied about for what it takes to lose a LB of weight - from 3500 to 4100 calories burned. This means that on a daily diet of 2000 calories, you would have to burn off between 5500 and 6100 calories on that day to lose a lb.

However without knowing exactly what you eat (and it could be you have way underestimated the calories) and how active you are on a daily basis, it is impossible to judge where the basis of your weight gain lies.

The fact is there is no point in jumping into chemical help if you do not have things sorted out from a diet and exercise point of view. If you are eating more calories than you are burning off, you will retain or gain your current weight with or without weight-loss drugs.

If you do decide to go down the route of using help with your diet in the form of drugs. DNP is the strongest you can use, the stuff is potentally lethal. I've used it myself and if you find the sides really unpleasant, it could be that you were using too large a dose.

In order of strenght perhaps you should try:
*An ECA stack - increases calories burning rate and decreases appitite.

*A Clenbuterol / Cytomel T3 combo - increases the rate at which fat and proteins are used up in the body.

*DNP - This should be a last resort and not a first. Start out on 200mg a day and increase by 200mg after seven days.
The thing about DNP is that you should not exceed 2-4mg per KG of bodyweight and as you lose weight you should continually recalculate your dose. There is a thread on this forum which you can use to read up on the subject:
http://www.uk-muscle.co.uk/steroid-t...16676-dnp.html

DNP also accumulates in your body due to having a 36 hour half life so you always have more in your body than your daily dose you are taking. So at a dose of 200mg per day,the level in your body will rise to 540mg
Day 1: 200 mg
Day 2: 326 mg
Day 3: 405 mg
Day 4: 455 mg
Day 5: 487 mg
Day 6: 507 mg

At 400 mg per day,the level in your body will rise to 1080mg ... 2xtimes the numbers from part 1.

So in order to take DNP you have to keep in mind:
The safe amount for your bodyweight
This fact the above will change as you lose weight
The fact DNP has a half life of 36 hours and what the dose is in relation to the safe dose for your body and your decreasing weight.

Also because you are on medication, you have to find out if the ingrediants in the chemical help will cause a reaction with the drugs you are already on.

Perhaps a good personal trainer with extensive diet knowledge would be a better route for you to take?
