Jock as you need to increase your carbs AND have a lot of meat in your diet already(expensive/unhealthy) you could consider swapping some of your meat out for quinoa? It has all 22 amino's + low GI carbs + Efa's. Just exchange some of the meat for the quinoa and keep in the veg.

Doc that is awesome, I bought some of that quinoa stuff and mixed it with some peppers, tomatoes and tuna and it tastes really good.

I was really struggling to find a way of eating tuna without gagging and adding some extra carbs into my diet and this way I can do both (plus the added benefits of aminos, omega fats etc)

Reps for you bro!

What a great site this is.......

Re: Cutting up 3 weeks in

I'm at the start of my fourth week, I have lost approximately 1" from my waist.
I'm at approx 19% bf at the moment I'm hoping I can get to 12% within the next 9 weeks, it's a tall order but I'm going strong.

I don't play for anyone at the moment mate, I have packed in rugby Union and the nearest league team is 40 miles away, plus I'm sooo busy with work!!!

Re: Cutting up 3 weeks in

Ok so things are going well, coming to the end of my 5th week and I've lost approx 4kg, which equates to a loss of 1.76lb per week.

1.5" has been shed off my waist so I'm happy but I would like to see another 1.5"-2" off by the end of the cut.

Cardio is consistent at 4 times a week in the morning in fasted state, I have trhown in 1 HIIT session on a sunday which is very tough but I need to start conditioning for rugby.

Diet has been good although it's hard to work round my schedule, I'm training 2 days a week and in the office for the rest, I passed both of my exams so I'm pleased.
