bump for hacksii or one of the other guys on here for your diet as it's not my area, but the stomach is the last place to lose fat.....just keep with the cardio mate and it will go for sure.....and if you were quite overweight then 4 months isn't really that long, so just keep doing what your'e doing.......I'd drop the weetabix for 6 scrambled egg whites though with 2 whole eggs....but bump for hacks

the more meals you have, the faster your metabolism will go.

Eat more regularly, and higher in protein, with less carbs.

When we talk about high protien food groups I dont eat red meat at all, but i have boneless and skin less chicken nearly everyday.

Is it a good idea to eat this almost everyday?

Carbs guys apart from bread what other everyday food contains carbs which i should cut out and also do I cut out it out totally or allow a small intake of it?

I dont mean to be or act thick its just that i have tried many ways of losing weight but it has fall always failed, so now I want sound advice from the likes of all you good professional people who know what you are talking about.

I would just like to take this point to thank all of you who have helped me out so far.

Ok,

Your diet and routine is reasonable but needs some work. Like has been suggested you need to back off on your cards a little bit, eating pasta and cereals every day won't help you shed fat. Avoid starchy carbs like these and (bread/potatoes tec) and replace them with fruit or vegtables.

Keep eating plenty of protein from 'good' sources (chicken/turkey/tuna/salmon/eggs etc) Red meat has a lot of protein but has a lot of fat too, go for lean beef mince instead.

Keep doing your cardio in the morning before breakfast as this is the best time to burn fat (you wake in a fasted state your body has no choice but to use fat for energy) but change it up a little. From the length of time you are doing (30mins) I'm assuming your cardio is pretty low intensity, so consider mixing it up with something else. Do a search on High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and its powerful effects on fat loss.

Your weight training shouldn't really change wether you are trying to gain weight or lose weight, lift weights that are challenging for you 3-4 sets of 6-10 reps is the norm but remember intensity id the key.

Good luck,

Jock

In addition to the advice above, take a few BCAAs before your cardio in the morning. It will ensure that you don't burn muscle for energy during your cardio. Also, genetics pre-determines where your fat will be lost first. Women & Men both have problems areas. For men it's the gut, for women it's the thighs & a$$, usually. Just keep up with the cardio and sensible diet, and eventually it will come off.

Low GI carbs such as sweet pot is fantastic for losing weight, as is oats. Slow release carbs are what you need.
