Cramps

Is it just me or is the hot weather causing cramps? I have been suffering for the past 2 weeks massive cramps in the body part that has been trained that day. I'm drinking more water than usual th has anyone got any suggestions to help relieve these cramps? apart from the obvious thats to stop training!!!!!!:boohoo:

i get this too...

remember your losing salts while you sweat so you need to put these back into you - electrolyte drinks are a good one, but a banana may do the job too with the potassium in it...

look for some taurine tabs in holland and barret, they help hugely with cramps.

but yeah, its down to de-hydration. re-balancing electrolytes is also key

I use to get cramps all the time.
I needed Calcium/Magnesium/Potassium
and water.

Take a look at the thread on
calves

Damn good advice here pete.

A little copy and paste for ya:

Taurine is the second most abundant free form amino acid which is often depleted by use of stimulants such as clenbuterol. It prevents cramping associated with dehydration of cellular tissue meanwhile maintaining cellular water levels.
