![]() | Cycling pain in throat Basically, when i'm cycling and breathing hard the back of my throat becomes very raw and pained, usually instigating bouts of very painful coughing... i initially thought that keep my mouth moist and hydrated during the ride would help but it really doesn't. I used to be a smoker but i quit over 5 years ago so i wouldn't think that would be a factor :/ Does anyone have any ideas as to what may be the cause of this and how i can combat it as i step up my bid to get fit? |

| Getting HUGE! | Re: Cycling pain in throat Iv no idea what would be causing it mate, as im No Dr, but why not try some sort of chewing gum, keeps your mouth full of Saliva, and will also make you swallow alot more, which should keep the back of your throat moist. Geo |
