Cramps - Ouch!

Any idea how I can stop these? Was doing MMA training during the week and it happened when I was hooking some guy - painful as hell. Also I was going to do my leg work out today and got a cracker in my right leg while just standing in my house - not working out legs as worries it will kick in while doing squats :/

Thanks

Re: Cramps - Ouch!

i get them really bad in my calfs but a bannana after training them and lots of water sorts me out ( dont eat a banana at bed time tho it makes them worse,

something to do with the potassium in the nana helps .

Re: Cramps - Ouch!

No worries man, its great for a lot of things;
cell volumisation
fat oxidation
and a relaxant (due to it being an inhibitory neuro transmitter)

Have abourt3-5g pre bed and you'll sleep like a baby.

also try consuming slightly more salt, and sretching the troublesome muscle before going to sleep.

Re: Cramps - Ouch!

Yeah, magnesium, potassium, iodine-salt, are good minaral apport to help on cramps.

banana, contain a good source of potassium, kiwi too if not more.

if you can, take dextrose just after training, it can't make miracle but it not bad.

anyway you can make your self your personnal gatorade
