![]() | shoulder problem hey bros. trained shoulders on tuesday did m press with olympic bar got out 2 reps on 70kg. then did seated smith machine press got 80kg 5x4 and the seated side raises. yesterday and today have been feeling shoulders not doms, but like ligament/joint pain everytime i pull some thing towards me eg hand brake on car or even when turning the wheel whilst driveing, opening or closing doors etc. just been to train back got 3 excercises dne and then soulders just went. wat could it be? i think ive over stretched some thing in my shoulder? wat do you bros think? kas |

If you havn't done so already,initially apply ice to the area and then rotate it with heat,keep doing this at regular intervals.Ibuprofen(caps/gel) may also help. Along with the self help,resist training upperbody for a few days,if symptoms don't subside then visit the physio for a diagnosis and treatment.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: shoulder problem Sound advice from Para, Sounds like impingement - rest it now - as in right now, make use of anti inflammatories and whatever you do don't train or you can look forward to three or four nights of no sleep no matter how many painkillers you take. Rest it up for at LEAST 10-14 days then start back very slowly. Suggest doing very light L -flys when you start back to strenghten and support the affected area - i know they helped me. Ive also stopped flat benching, upright rowing, any sort of press behind the neck and all other movements that can destroy the rotator cuffs. Good luck

![]() | Re: shoulder problem thank guys, the pain is in both of my shoulders, i do no think its a rotar cuf. i think i have over stretched smehting in my shoulders whilst doing m press. going to take a week of frm the gym and just do sme cardio |
