![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Cold water??? a few years ago i used to run several marathons per year and many half marathons as training. at the time i heard that it helped speed up recovery and dispertion of lactic acid but i never tried it prefering a hot one instead. whether its true or not i havnt a clue! probably just a rumour started by someone with a sence of humour ![]()

The ice cold water flushes all the blood out of the muscles tacking with it all the exersize by products which make you sore. An easyer method is hot - cold. Get an ice pack and a hot water bottle and apply one after the other 30 secs at a time. Wait 24 hours after the workout to do this if your sore. The hot water pulls the blood in and the ice flushes it back out. Or just live with the DOMS ![]() |
