Re: How many injuries do you currently have?

lomer back and shoulders,

strted doing hanging leg raises, isolates the lower muscles of the lower back and abs, plus mix it up with slow controlled situps you'll soon notice the difference.

As for the shoulders man they always get bust when i do dips grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Re: How many injuries do you currently have?

I have a dodgey right rotator cuff.
It's had 2 episodes of partial dislocation (Sub-luxation), so shoulder training avoids the heavy presses.

Also, have an on going neck thing from a car crash last Dec. But this isn't too bad.

I have cycels with more when I play Rugby... Hhahah Currently sporting a black eye, numerous blisters and scrapes from yesterdays match!

Tommy K
All done bye bye

i have a shoulder injury that effects pressing movements, plus my lower back injury from an accident in 1996 that left me paralysed from the waist down.

Re: How many injuries do you currently have?

i was in an accident during a tug-o-war but that just highlighted the issue it came to light that i have a partially fused L5/L4 vertebrae the disk in between L5/S1 is pretty much taking all the strain on top of that i have a degenerative bone disease in the L5/L4 on the side that is not fused.
because of this i cannot bend backwards if i do the nerves that wrap round the nodules get trapped and the pain is so bad my brain tells my legs to collapse to ease the pain(non medical explanation ) Feb of each year i have 6 x 6inch needles inserted into my back onto the nerves that surround the nodules then a electronic current is passed through the pins to burn the nerves away this lasts around 6 months before the pain comes back.....but the type of operation prevents from me having it more than once a year....

Re: How many injuries do you currently have?

Got a shagged RC at the moment..

Just recoverying from an elbow/forearm strain that had massive amounts of scar tissue around it, and still shifting some of that...

And still in the process of getting my twisted pelvis/hip and spine back into correct alignment, but this is an ongoing things due to work (and lack of flexability & core strength) so I don`t count that one...lol

WTF!!! And yet you have pushed through it all and look at you... Impressive mate!! keep up the good work.

I just have a shoulder injury on my front delt that seems fck me up some days. At one stage I would work shoudlers fine and then this cramp will come on and try train and cant carry on and leave the gym using each arm to hold the arm up, had some physio and seemed to fix the left one but not the right one. Currently it's tender if I massage it with my fingers. Need to get it looked at I guess. Not nice starting a course with it playing up!!!

Re: How many injuries do you currently have?

Done both rotator cuff's 3 times , painfull sh*t. Used to work through the pain working delts up to 140kg press behind neck for reps, no more pain till next AM. Always occured after big benching night. Paying the price for that now that i'm older as my doctor tells me.

Ah well, live and learn
