Pains in forearm when curling, what is it?

When i'm doing bicep curls with straight bar im ok, no pain, but when i put the weights on the floor when i finish i get a sharp pain all down my left forearm (doesnt feel muscular), right is fine. Now i fractured my left wrist when i was a kid, could that be giving me jip?
