![]() | General Core Exercises I'm looking to build a routine around core exercises, preferably with light weights or none at all. Exercises that you feel are most effective targeting quads, abs, lower back, or even chest. If you have anything other than the basic push-ups and sit-ups it'd help greatly, as that's about all my routine is atm . Thanks for the help :beer1: |

| Banned | sissy squats, hindo squats, lunges, walking lunges........quads reverse sit ups, hanging knee raises, ball situps, double situps (elbows and knees together......abs supermans, dorsal raises, back raises off fitball ..... lower back plyometric push ups, hindu pushups, between chair pushups, one hand higher than other push ups, dips....chest |

| UK-M's Mascot | for squats, stand heels on a thick book (e.g. yellow pages or something) put your arms in front for balance and lower yourself slowly, hold, then back up, repeat a few times, rest, repeat. that's what i did when i started and couldn't afford the gym.
