Question should my muscle ache!

just a quick one for you lot,
affter working out in the gym roughly 24 to 48 hours affter i always get muscle aches on the body part i have been training on, my question is }if i dont ache affter a work out have a done enough,or if i am aching 24 to 48 hours affter, have i over trained or done a sufficient amount in the gym?:lift:

:withstupi may sound a silly question but asking cos i am un sure.
i know roughly what happens when your body is recovering affter a work out,but this question is always at the back of mind

the ache is normall its called Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness or DOMS, it doesnt mean your overtrained. DOMS is an indiactor that you have worked the muscle well but it isnt esseintial for growth so dont worry if you dont feel it all the time.

As long as the ache isn't anything more than an ache i.e an injury then you will be fine.

Everyone gets it from time to time, but not always following a workout.
