advice on technique

using the 3*8 routine, chest and triceps monday, back and biceps wed, legs and abs fri. although i am only new to this this doesnt feel like it is working me hard enough even though i lift as heavy as possible each time. want something to really get me started on muscle gains. cheers lads/ or ladies!!

You only said the other day here http://www.uk-muscle.co.uk/getting-started/9133-should-i-stay-should-i-go.html that you were seeing gains in strength and size. As long as that continues, then why change? I know what it's like when you first start going to the gym, you wanna be there 24/7, but you should resist that urge, otherwise you'll end up overtraining.

maxxxx can only hope to improve
most bodybuilders vastly over train with volume just because a muscle does not feel tired does not mean it will not grow. try to take these few sets to positive muscular failure and look to increase weight or reps as often as possible for most benefit stick with it
