![]() | newbie in need of advice hi im Dave im new to body building and getting fit and would like some advice please, im 20 , 6ft 4, and im just over 20st, and ive recently started lifting weights and doing general cardio work, i benchpress 40kg and lift 10kg dumbbells, do 20minutes on the puchbag with 3 minute intervals, 50 crunches twice a day, 50 push ups twice a day, 20minutes on bike, i am training up because im hoping to become a doorman in the near future, any help/exercises will be greatly appreciated. ![]() | hi mate thanks for the routine i dont really have a set diet, i just eat chicken,pork,fresh fish, and salads with my routine mate its just what mates have told me, thats why ive come on this forum so id get advice from people that know what they are doing Thanks Dave |

![]() | dave you need to up the weight your lifting buy some or join a gym stick to large compond movements weighted dips for a guy your size would be ideal because you would be able to utilise your body weight for a more productive chest workout than 40kg benching dave you have potential for good things there but potential means nothing unless you know how to apply and develope it for pressups increase the intensity with raised legs as a former amateur boxer i would forget the 3 minute on 1 minute rest outside a ring there are no rest peroids i d go for 5 minutes at least at first then start rest peroids stick with it |
