| Made in Liverpool | Legs, advice needed :) Ok upper body is coming on nicely.. but my legs are big and are holding quite a bit of fat (from when i was big) I rarely work legs because of this, i dont want them to get any bigger. My cardio consists of: 30 minutes cross trainer, 30 minute incline walk (treadmill) I do this on a tuesday and a thursday. Should introduce another days cardio? with light leg weights maybe? Or stop the low intensity cardio and start running? any help or advice appreciated ![]() |

| Banned | *BUMP* squats. What about performing squats, followed by straight leg deadlifts? That'll ensure your hamstrings get hit adequately and because they're both excellent compound exercises you should get a wicked afterburn, too. I think that would be beneficial if your goal is to improve definition and you could always finish off with some cardio. ![]() |

If you are doing incline treadmill then your hamstrings and glute will get hit pretty good. I would recomend squats too and I if you worry about your legs getting too but then I would run Bleachers (stairs). This gives you the benefits of running down the stairs too and this will help develop the legs too, unlike the stair machines. |
