Best time to do training?

Whats the best time to do training and how long after you have eaten?
Also this may seem a silly question but is there a time thats too late to do training?

Thanks

Whenever is most convenient to you.

I find eating a small meal about 30-60 mins before training works fine for me, and I train first thing in the morning, as this is most convenient.

Other people like to train evening.

It makes no difference - just do what's best for you.

testerone levels are said to be at their highest in the morning between 4am-9am. lowest test levels in the day is 4-9pm. Not that this makes any real significance but like big said. Down to personal preference when you think you can lift your best. You shouldnt train to late as it might interfere with your sleeping patterns although i dont really think thats possible as most gyms shut at 9-10. I always try to train before noon, but thats just me.

I find I have no energy in the mornings to lift weights.

I train in the evening around 7.30/8pm ish. Always works good for me.

Depending on clients between 10 and 4 are the best times. I used to train in the evening, but too many people at that time and too much chat. Wife trains when she finishes work but prefers about 11 -12 ish. I always eat soon after

KK is right

Training increases your heart rate. You are most awake when your heart rate is high - Therfore if you train not long before bed you will probably have trouble sleeping, hence you won't get the 8 hours sleep your body needs ;)

Post WO meal an hour and a half after training? Ouch mate. Prime time is within 45 mins after you have finished your workout. Try have your Post meal right after your workout, if you can't as SOON as you can. Even if this means taking tuna, a shaker with some powder in it and buy some milk from the fridge and whatever else is in your PWO ;)

I'll second that. i'm more tired when I wake up than i am when I go to bed. I train about 9.pm I have trained as late as 11.30pm. It's what ever you feel is best.

As for postworkout meal. You should aim for some high glycemic index carbs and some protein. Yes it would be good to have a shake now in my opinion. I don't really feel like a big cooked meal after training. Mash might be ok though because that has a high GI rating. ...don't get me started on these GI ratings they do me skull in
