hi and welcome to UK-M

Sorry to be a pain in the aas but could you tell us what your doing just now, i.e. how many days you train, whats your diet like, what Bodyfat% roughly do you think you are, do you take any supplements at all just now, and you say this is your first day do you mean ever?
Even better post up a pic if you have one.

Its just easier for the boys to give advice, if they have as much detail as possible.

ALL THIS IS VERY TRUE, THE MORE INFO YOU GIVE THE BETTER AND EASIER IT IS FOR THE GUYS (AND GALS) HERE TO HELP.

Also what are your goals from working out (general fitness, more muscle, competition, sport)

If you have never trained before (ever) a basic 3 days per week (mon, wed, fri) programme working all body parts for 3 sets of 8-10 reps would be a good start . Do this for your first 6 weeks.

you should train yes
supplements can help yes
yes eating meals can be good
ah gaining weight can be nice, yes
a begginer eh?

Hmm, best thing would probally be to start with a complete system, so you get it all right from the start.
Parrilo comes to mind. (My own as well LOL) You could use a simple program like Dardens Flat stomach asap too.

:axe:
