my brother

my brother is 14 and has been coming to the gym with me 3 times a week for 6 mths. his aim is to be a bodybuilder. can some please suggest a programme and is he to young to be taking creatine and protein.

Bench, seated db presses, squats, deadlifts, pullups, dips and hammer curls.
No protein drinks and no creatine.

Not so sure on these exercises Wingman.

At 14 he should only be doing bodyweight exercises as his epiphises haven't fused yet. If he were to do these then I would say only at very low weight and volume.

Children need to improve co-ordination, not strength/size so low weights and high reps are the way to go woth only a couple of sets per exercise to keep them interested ok?

me and my brother both started trainning with are dad from when i was about 15 i started, my brother has just started! doing the same exercises as him, but not big lifts more reps :lift:

id personally drop the reps and start him off powerlifting
just bench, squat and deads!!!! just 6 reps at the most!!

around the age of 18 - 19 id start him off bodybuilding!

i think he would see betta gains off strength training too,

i wouldnt use ne suplaments with him just ensure he is eating properly!!
