My current routine needs moving around and trimming

This is the current routine that I do, I know that some of the exercises should move to different days
and would just like some advise from the experienced people on here.(about what to drop and move around)
May be some should be dropped altogether.

My goals are to build more muscle but mainly to be fit and healthy don't really want to be huge just nicely defined.
I understand that diet plays a huge role and have been learning since I joined last year.( we eat very cleanly with 1 cheat meal a week but thats for the diet section)
I have given up rugby (due to age 32 ) to do weights and cardio.

The routine is as follows

All done with 3 X 8

Monday=Legs 3x8

1 Squats
2 Leg Extension
3 Leg Curl
4 Standing Calf Raises (last set to failure)
5 Seated weighted Crunches
6 Reverse Butterfly (should I even do these? or move them to Friday with back)

Followed by 30mins of cardio

Tuesday is cardio only 30mins

Wednesday= Chest, shoulders & biceps 3x8

1 Incline Bench Press
2 Close Grip Bench Press (should this move to friday as Im sure its triceps) please suggest something else maybe dumbell flys)
3 Shoulder Press
4 Lateral Raise
5 Dumbell Bicep Curls
6 EZ Bar Curls
Followed by 30mins Cardio

Thursday 30mins cardio

Friday = Back & Triceps (are these being done in the right order?)

1 Lat Pulldown
2 Close Grip seated Row
3 Tricep Push Downs
4 Tricep Extensions
5 Dead Lifts
6 Shrugs
Followed by 30min cardio

Please advise if I should do any of the exercise in a different order to maybe get the most out of the muscle group. Is there any I should drop.

In all honesty this was a Maxicr@p i mean muscle routine that I changed around and added the deadlifts and squats after joining this site.

PS I have finally convinced my wife that she can do weights and not be built like a truck, she has been joining in for the last month and only complains that her funbags are getting smaller(they weren't big to begin with) any of these exercises she should not do or change to prevent this.

All advise will be taken on board.

Many thanks

Julio

Re: My current routine needs moving around and trimming

you need to make legs the middle workout of the two otherwise you have minimal rest in between chest day and tricep day

wednesday i would do it in this order

incline bench
another type of bench but not close grip as thats triceps really
shoulder press
lat raises
bicep curls
ez bar

and on back day do it like this

deadlift must be first
then do chins
rows next
shrugs
close grip bench here instead of chest day
skullcrushers

its all subjective but thats my opinion
