Unbalanced bad technique from one strong side

Hi everyone,
Bascially i have a very unbalanced body as i used to work out quite a lot but hardly done much in last few years, one side of my body right hand side is dominant and strong and toned and i think because of this and bad technique from just trying to lift the weight years ago as apposed to taking time and spreading the strain my right hand side has being doing all the work. When i use to do bicep curls right hand side would do majority of the work and left hand would struggle and i never used to concentrate on the movement. My right pec is small size but pure muscle and strong, left one is is bigger and not same shape as right one. My arms are different too. it looks as if years of poor lifting have had there effect as if you know how if you hold you arm out and move your arm up and down in a straight manner (as you would with dumbells) my right one is fine but my left arm as left forearm lifts inside that line and i have hardly any good muscle on my left forearm from bad lifting. sorry this is all quite hard to explain, i dont go to gym now as i dont see the point as i will prob do my body worse than good until i sort this out.
I dont know wether to go to pyshio therapy or what really.
the whole movement on my left side from my shoulders, pecs to arm is not right what ever i try to do as the muscle is not quality and central.
Really struggling to write anymore on this, any ideas

Re: Unbalanced bad technique from one strong side

Is it really that bad?

We're all dominant on one side or the other.

Personally my right side is stronger - that goes from right arm, shoulder and thigh.

It should all balance out in time but if you are concerned use dumbells to spread the load etc.

It might be worth getting checked out by an osteopath, you may have some kind of misalignment which is throwing your body out of sinc. But we all have one side more developed than the other, but not to extremes usually
