![]() | Re: PreWO + PostWO, what do you take? About 2 hours before I train I have my Pro XS Bar and about 45 mins before a Pro GF, then straight after I use Pro Recover. And try to within an hour of that have my last food meal of the day. |

| Mature Bodybuilder | Re: PreWO + PostWO, what do you take? Pre work out 2 lipo 6, loads of water. Cup of tea, 4 scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and olive oil. Litre and half of spring water during workout. Post work out - more water. Protein shake immediately after with mastica added ( a sort of high carb honey paste which is flavoured with gum mastic -resin from a tree) sounds horrendous but is delicious, simple carbs and highly addictive. Also dirt cheap form of fast carbs at 80pence for half a kilo tub. Very good for the digestion. Half an hour later- protein meal (usually chicken or fish) with salad, more olive oil and sometimes sweet potato depending on the carb cycling. |

A decent meal about 1 hour before, chicken and rice or scrambolled eggs on toast, something like that. PWO is protein in water and sometimes a banana. Nothing too complex, don't feel its needed at my stage. |
