Re: Routine advice

Added a slight leg workout into the second day. I was focusing mainly on chest / shoulder and arm gains, with that goal in mind is my routine suitable for that or am i under / over doing it on a certain area?

Re: Routine advice

If im doing my 3 sets of 8 and im getting to the end of the second set and half way through the third and i cannot lift anymore. Would i be right in saying i need to lower the weight for all sets?

Not really no, if you are going to failure then you are doing the right thing. Lowering the weights you will get more reps but you obviously arent working the muscle involved as hard. I always do a warm up set at around 50% of my max, 2nd set about 80% and third set 100%, I sometimes only hit 6 reps on my final set but it seems to be working for me.
