It works for me because I work a lot of night shifts, so I finish work at 6ish, sleep 'til 12ish and make it to the gym for about 1. It's also pretty quiet at that time of day, especially now as it's Summer Holidays for the kids. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Best time to train.... I train at about 9, I find this best as the gym is empty, Ive had a decent meal a couple of hours before, and when I get home, PWO shake and 45 mins tv then to bed. Sleep like a deadman, its brilliant !! But I gues ssome would say its an aquired taste but once you get used to working out that late its fine. I did earlies, like 7:30 workouts for a bit but every day was such a huge battle to get to the gym I went back to lates. |

![]() ![]() | Re: Best time to train.... Alot of people have said afternoon/ evenings but I find early(ish) bout 7:20am I get to the gym after a good breakfast and get plenty of water during workout. I really strugled going after work at 5ish, just felt really groggy and you know its never good when your yawning halfway through! Plus the gym would always be rammed but im sure it would be different in your circumstances. I reckon you just gotta see how you seen during and after a workout at different times to find whats best for you |
