Just Started is on a distinguished road
Ok so as my name states i have just started to train.

Hi this is my first thread so i don't know what you guys are like but i'm sure your cool and will offer advice.
My stroy is, im 17 years old and i weigh 65kg or just over 10 stones. I have just a few weeks ago started weight training and pretty much try to train every part of my body at the gym 3 times a week, using alot of the machines and some free weights.
I take a protein shake after my workout (this is the only time i take a shake) because i have heard this helps build muscle but i have also heard that i should try to up my weight to 85kg in order to build good muscle up. I really feel i am in at the deep end and have no idea on how to go about building lots of muscle. should i take lots of protein shakes? do i need to workout more? the best way to put on weight ( that is if i do)? how should i be training? etc etc as you can see i really don't know much and any advice would be appreciated
thankyou

Basically-

train each bodyprat once a week divided into 2-3 days
sleep as much as humanly possible-this is when you will grow
eat, eat, eat, eat and then eat some more.
