Cardio routines

Does anyone know any cardio routines that are best for keeping my gains?

Totally new to the lastest cardio routines, heard doing HIT cardio around 7pm is good. But what does HIT involve - 1 minute run/ 1 minute walk?

If anyone can shine some light that would be great! Cheers.

Re: Cardio routines

If your looking to keep your muscle Id suggest just doing something like a long walk on an incline. Thats what Ive been told is best to avoid attacking your muscles for energy although Im no expert Im slowly learning !!

Re: Cardio routines

That's what I'm doing at the moment. But not much is happening really. I do 50 mins power-walk on an incline.

There is a lean guy at work who does HIT cardio and he eats what he wants and remains lean??

Re: Cardio routines

Make sure you are carb depleted (after workout/fasting) and do cardio at 63% of your max, this way you will burn fat.
