Im definatly going to start doing something similar to one of the progression methods. Im i right in thinking that i just need to pick a progression method and adapt the right amount of sets and reps to suit my goals ? So as my goal is size. Bench press week 1 - 30kg 10 reps, 40kg 10 reps, 50kg 10 reps Bench Press week 2 - 35kg 10 reps, 45kg 10 reps, 50kg 10 reps Eventually get it 45,50 and 55 Im seriously thinking of just using 1 weight for 3 or 4 sets and trying to improve each week with more reps or improve the weight because i cant really get my head around training for hypertrophy. |
