![]() | training change? Hi I started a training journal and by reading that you will see I have had a bit of a problem this last week. I am wondering whether I am trying to do too much at once with my training and was wondering whether I should concentrate on dropping body fat before building muscle or stay as I am. I had started to look quite bulky but not seeing any improvement in muscle definition. I wanted to get bigger muscles but without looking big - if that makes sense. I don't mind looking big if it is proper muscley looking. Any advice / ideas would be great!

![]() | Re: training change? I am gaining muscle but don't seem to be shifting body fat. Have posted my diet until now on my journal page and was feeling ok on that after a few alterations. Energy was getting very very low at times so started taking udo's oil..seemed to pick up until I stopped training for a week. I think I basically need a kick start again!

| Do or do not. There is no 'try'. | Re: training change? Just had a look at your journal kaz28. Don't let the stupid comment get you down. I have been feeling a bit similar to you recently - trying to gain some lean mass, but still feeling rather chubby! I don't know if I can offer any useful advice, but I am trying to stick with the routine and diet that I know will get results (because I have had such good help on here) and give it some time. I know I can get rid of some fat later, 'cos I've done it before. If you are gaining muscle, you will be burning more calories and so the fat will start to come off too. All the best mark
