I had to learn to eat more, more often, and the right things. I am on high protein, good fats and low or medium complex carbs at the moment in six small meals a day. I am looking good on it. Starting to look lean and defined and I am still 15 weeks from the contest date.
Work on a four day split at the gym, with swimming , kickboxing or the cross trainer between lifting or on the other days. Try to relax more at the weekends and recuperate. When in the gym I change reps and exercises according to how I feel, but like to train really hard with 30 second breaks between sets, one or two minutes between exercises. Lift as much weight as I can most days, for between 10-15reps. Not to everyones taste , but it works for me. |
