![]() | beginner size and strength HI all,just starting again after a few years looking for some advice for strength training. my routine only at home on a simple bench CHEST bench press 5 sets pyramid 12 reps to 2 BICEPS dumbell curl as above SHOULDERS military press " BACK dumbell row " LEGS dumbell squats 3 sets 10 reps (hurt after but will increase) just want a quick home routine to get bigger cheers jas |

![]() ![]() | Hi mate I would defo add some bent leg dead lifts, Standing Calf raises (find yourself a block of wood or even 2 cast iron weights) French press (great for forearms and triceps) Behind the neck press Bent leg rows And some shrugs Just bought another 100kg of cast iron weights (hope my floor boards hold out )I only go to the gym on days I need to do bench press as I have no one to spot me at home. |

![]() ![]() | Forgot to mention I would only do 4 sets use a weight you can do 8 reps with then increase weight and do 6 increase again and do 4 then last set to failure I dont know what others will say but this worked for me. Try 3 full body workouts a week then after a month start doing a split workout. Good luck bro |
