Back Rowing

In my back workout i currently have
deadlift
seated pully row
1 arm dumbbell row

Im just wondering, if i should change 1 arm dumbbell row to straight bar row or double dumbell row ?

I changed the 1 arm row today too two armed row.
I put a bench on an incline, and went on it stomach first and rowed with the two dumbbells at the same time.

Which should i use ?

As i cant do wide grip chins, should i use the assisted machine to build up my strength in that area ?

thanks

Re: Back Rowing

personally i would do one rowing movement followed by a pulldown/up movement, eg

deadlift,
bent over row
lat pulldown/pullup

but then again i am not a big fan of one arm dumbbell rows as almost everyone who you see doing them is doing them incorrectly.

Re: Back Rowing

There is a new machine in which is like a hammer strength lat pulldown.

I hate deads, theyre such a killer, but theyre very important.

Please dont reply to my threads with useless remarks.

Stop being a petulant child

he is right, you have over analysed every last point of training and dont need to at 16.

I have to stop myself posting "are you serious" in all of your dilema posts

relax and play by the old school rules, no more, no less.
You currently dont have a physique, are not strong so its better just to let things progress nice and slowyl and you will get there

Im just going to use different forms of rowing each week.

Best thing for you to do is turn off your PC and actually stick to a plan

Im not even going to question that as I cannot raise my blood pressure listening to the logic behind it

Lost Soul without sounding like Im kissing up to you that is the best piece of advice you have posted so far ( and most of your posts are informative and make the thread writer have to think and research your answer ...which is good helps them learn for themselves )

Nathan life is to short to analyze this and that just go with what you like and enjoy it . The internet can be a source of information but it can also deter you from the basics and the goals in life you aim for as every one sat behind the monitor is a expert ...but no one really is ...the expert is the person taking the advice on board as in DO I or Don`t I ...its all to confusing

Put things in perspective at your time of life

Dissagree,

Drop the one arm rows for double either DB or BB - its way more intense and harder to cheat.

Re: Back Rowing

since i havent seen your previous posts nathan i dont know how much you analyse things!!!

BUT.... it isn't THAT important at the start

however.... as long as you can physically do them you should be doing deads IMO if you are beginning or amateur, in fact just about everyone should be doing them but rarely do
