Exclamation hey guys and gals

new guy in the house!

ok i have NO idea on body building or on how to go about it

the reason i have joined up is simple to get some help on how to look better and bigger!
i am 27 10 stone and 6 foot 1
i have never ever been able to put weight on, i have always been this weight. i can eat endless amounts of crap. fatty foods etc and nothing ever changes
my fore arms are bigger than the rest of my arm and they are the size of a carrot
and as a result i cant go to the gym, swimming pool or even the beach! and wanting to remove my top during the great sunshine we have had hasnt happened! i look like you sparrow that lands in your garden eating all the scraps you chuck out! i just cant stand the looks people give me for being this thin, its to embarresing to cope with anymore
even waring a T shirt i cant do in public anymore!

so what i ask is there any help you guys can give? baring in mind the facts
i dont put weight on no matter what diet i eat (also a very fussy eater so that probley does not help one bit!)
i have NO muscle what so ever to work up to bigger ones
no fat what so ever on me to try turn it into either!

i have lived the last 12 years HATING my body but now it has to change so it can change my life style! help!!

oh and hi there

Re: hey guys and gals

Welcome mate
good post and nice of you not to have mentioned creatine and protein shakes

Training wise a simple 3 day split of 3 day full body work is fine

bill starr, mark rippetoe have good plans
eating wise, 6-8 meals a day generally quality food
scrawny to brawny by berardi would be a good book to read

Re: hey guys and gals

Get a bench and bar and some dumbbells. Look on ebay mate there will be loads on there 2nd hand. Eating is obviously the key. Make sure you eat breakfast. Eat before bed as i find this makes me really hungry in the morning. Honestly mate research your training and eat, eat, eat!

Re: hey guys and gals

just to clarify mate dont be afraid of supplements there is loads of crap out there but some very good ones but they are exactly what they say.... supplements to a good diet. so taking them doesnt mean you aren't natural, most of them anyway,

as for home gym....

squat rack/smith machine (but prefer rack)

barbell and weights

dumbells

adjustable bench

they are basics and there is no muscle you cant work with just a barbell and weights.

Re: hey guys and gals

Eating wise you should LOVE bulking !!! Eating ace food all day long. If you are finding it hard vitamin b12 gives me a brilliant appitite.

Aim for 6 meals a day but dont stress over it. Work your meals into your current weeks routine, not the other way around. Personally Ill have a shake in the morning but cook some eggs aswell. Wrap them up and eat them hour later when I get to work. Another meal at 11 then dinner between 1 and 2. Meal before I leave work, home for an hour or so chillin. Make dinner, gym then a shake before bed.
