What are realistic gains?!!

This has probably a daft question but.... I'm 6ft (ish), 74.5kg, am trying to put on some serious muscle bulk and am on a whole body workout at the moment which I do 3/4 times per week.

I know everything takes time but I was wondering what mass gains would be realistic to achieve and what weight should I be aiming for?

thanks

Re: What are realistic gains?!!

welcome mate

naturally?

Muscle alone:

1st year of training 15-20lbs is exceptional, 10 is good and realistic
year 2 = 5-12lbs
beyond that 4-10 is good

The returns lower with time yet increase relatively when all bases are covered.

Anyone who gains 3 stine in a year has got fat regardless of what they tell you and how "they dont see anymore body fat"

Love the screen handle by the way.

I meen its eay to gain weight, its quality that you should be worried about. naturaly your looking at 5lbs lean body mass a year i recon for the first year or two then it gets much harder.

sure you could gain 100kg in a year but its going to be fat.

Re: What are realistic gains?!!

Without being obsessed, 10lbs is easily possible within the first year. Diet is the key.

is realising, diet, traing, rest, supplements, 12 egg breakfasts are nothing without consistency

Re: What are realistic gains?!!

Personally I'd say consistency is the key but with that as a given in a theoretical situation then its diet, rest and training HARD !

chronic-2001 is infamous around these parts
Re: What are realistic gains?!!

Ive been training 4 years naturally, id say lean muscle gains of around about 20 lbs a year minimum are easily obtainable, you will gain more when you realise your perfect diet and traing routine, this took me about 2 years of trial and error to sort out!

Re: What are realistic gains?!!

betwean 0-10lbs of lean mass is the range your looking at depending if everything is in place, maybe as high as 14lb of lean mass if you have the genetics of a pro and eat rest and train like one.
