never anyone dedicated enough really, i like training with new/different people as it seems to make me try harder...

now however i train alone most of the time but i just ask randoms for a quick spot when needed... usually the biggest person or the one who i deem to be training intelligently ! some people couldnt spot to save their lives. i.e. you say please give me a spot, i am trying for six/eight, and they look at you blankly, finger the bar a bit without really helping when needed. but at the end of the day they dont owe me a good spot they were doing me a favour anyway so i cant complain

Always chose a spotter who is paying attention to what you are doing, what he is doing and what the weight is doing! Someone who can lift the bar with effort to spare is good too...

I train alone , often do HIIT and can't find many training partners who can stand the pace. Hard to find someone who will arrive at the gym at an arranged time. Like Carly, I just ask someone to spot for me.

As for correct form, the owner of the gym I go to is great for being helpful and making sure you use correct form to lift and train with weights. He is also trained in sports science and specialises in sports injury recuperation training.
