![]() | building muscle mass Hi, im a bit of a newbie to weight lifting been doing it now for about 2 months with a mate of mine. I want to know the best training method for building up muscle mass, see at the minute im a weedy 9.5 stone 5ft 7inch lad and im wanting to really bulk up. An example of my routine: chest press - warm up set of 10 reps with 20kg, then 2 more sets of 10 reps with 35kg on the bar at which point im nearly fatigued. Am i right in thinking that if i increased the weight quite a bit and got the sets down to 2 that that would be a better way to bulk up? cheers Phil |
