Re: body parts

From personal experience yes, Ive dickedabout with so many mens health " add 40inches to your arms in 3 weeks, on a bicep curl every other day" routines and got nowhere. Push pull legs which kind of only hits your muscles once per week and works great for me.

bulgarian powerlifting routine 3/4/5 times a week
full body basic routines 3 times per week
upper low x 2 split = twice weekly
3 day split, generally once, some assisting muscles twice
true BB split over 5 days like Max OT for example, once on main muscle groups, assisting muscles 2-3 times often
sports strength routines = as low as once

loads of ways, its not the number of times you hit it, its how you hit it.....

chronic-2001 is infamous around these parts
Re: body parts

I train:
Mon: Chest
Tue: Biceps + 1 tricep burnout
Wed: Back, leg curls
Thur: Chest
Fri: Shoulders, leg press
Sat: Triceps + 1 bicep workout

I train my abs everyday and do cardio everyday. At the moment this routine is working well for me, and i think it allows good time for my muscles to recover, however everyones different and it depends alot on what you want to achieve!

Re: body parts

see the suggestions i put, pick a goal and work out what you want to do

doing biceps the day before back for bodybuilding is not ideal
chest twice a week wouldnt be my choice when you only have one leg exercise for front an back per week
a day or triceps, tricep balsting is poor
abs every day? why, not required
shoulders the day after chest is not ideal as they are knackered as an ssisting muscle, doing ticeps in effect 5 out of 7 days and 3 in a row

it can go on and on

simple 3/4/5 day splits for BBing, full body work or upper and lower splits

game changes for strength and power work but i can't imagine people training for those will be doing 'tricep burnouts'
