Newbie Question about BFL

Hi, I have never posted on the forum before so just wanted to say hello and ask a couple of questions. I am on the 7th week of the Body for Life programme and going well. My initial goal is to loose body fat and so far it is working it is down from (dare I say it) 35% to 31%. I do appear to have lost a little lean mass but understand this is correct when in a calorie deficient diet. At the beginning of the programme I started to use EAS Betagen, during the second week I was advised if fat loss was my goal I should use Creatine & L-Glutamine, mainly because Betagen has a monohydrate in it. I switched over to Creatine & L-G but have now nearly run out. My question is do I buy more Creatine & L-G or use the expensive Betagen which is sitting in the cupboard? I have read about Betagen and it contains Creatine & L-G so I am slightly confused. My other question is would I be better changing my exercise routine from the BFL programme to maybe exercising 2 muscles per gym visit followed by 45 mins cardio? I am lucky in the fact that I can visit the gym 6 times a week. I was thinking something along the lines of

Mon
Chest
Quads
Cardio
Tue
Triceps
Abs
Cardio
Wed
Shoulders
Hams
Cardio
Thu
Back
Calves
Cardio
Fri
Biceps
Abs
Cardio
Sat
Cardio
Sun
Rest
Rest
Rest

The BFL programme says HIIT cardio 3 times a week and all upper / all lower body on alternate days.
A week of BFL would be Upper body / HIIT / Lower body / HIIT / Upper body / HIIT / Rest. The following week would be starting with lower body.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Regards
Shane

bin the book, dont use the supplements.
Whilst there was some logic behind the plan its a marketing hyped plan to get you on supps which in return has 'out of shape people' start training look a bit better and sell the products as a result.

Look for a better diet plan, one free of blag and train well

a simple 3 day plan will do for weights, cardio 3-4 times per week and abalanced diet, no supps, just quality

your training suggestions are not ideal
