training around shiftworking

can anyone please help with setting me out a routine for training around shift work .i do 3 x 12 hour shifts a week wed, thu,r fri for 4 weeks then change to sun, mon, tue for 4 weeks .
at the moment i have been training on every day of my 4 days off a week but feel i may be overtraining .i have recently carb cycled from 15st 5 to 13st 5 over about a 6 month period and am quite happy with the results .but feel i have lost a bit of muscle .
there is no way i can train on one of my work days .
thanks

Re: training around shiftworking

I do 12 hour days Mon-Fri and train 4 times a week. Mon-Wed-Fri-Sat and during the week i train for 1.30hrs after work at 6.45pm. I cant see why you cant train on your work days.

How far is your gym from work?

Re: training around shiftworking

imo you should train 2-3x a week max.
nite shifts wrecked me for growth.
working long hours is as bad for your training as partying.
rest=growth!
