Would you recommend a protein shake before workout maybe? Any help mucho appreciato |

Do the cardio after training or first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, ideally you could do both cardio sessions. Try and stick to "compound" exercises at this stage of your training - benching, deadlifting, squatting, barbell rows, over head pressing - the one's that really are hard work!! These will work all the muscles you need to develop and stimulate your overall CNS response. Stick with it and good luck. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: 2 quick questions.. man tits & lack of arm power :) Agree with the compound exercises, Dont think cardio loses fat and weights add muscle. Weights burn more alot more calories than cardio. The added benifit is that they also promote muscle growth so its win win. Down side is you cant do as much weight lifting as cardio so thats why you get a balance of both. But it doesnt matter if you are lifting cars and ruinning marathons everyday, if your diet isnt strict and correct then you wont lose anything. Check out the diet section of the forums, loads of great info in there. best of luck ! |
