advice from looking at these photo's please

hello all, firstly let me just say im new to forums in general and if ive done anything wrong by not hosting piccies then i guess ive wasted the last hour of my life! :(

bacically ive been training on and off for a year+ but i want to start getting more serious with training and going to the gym 3-4 times a week, my main objective is to look trim+lean im not looking to get seriously big but i want a more defined and toned look than my pic shows. normally i would be abit coy about showin off my body but im a total noob and am i need of advice.

lookin at pics do you think i need to burn off some fat around my stomach to see a defined 6-pack, or do i just not have the muscle there yet to be seen? couple of my friends from work are looking good and recommended norateen 2 heavyweight and a high protein shake, what do u guys think, thx for reading

i wouldnt suggest loosing fat mate

hit compound moves hard mate such as deadlifts and they will sort your core out for sure

im guessing you havent got a current diet

you need to pack in the protein!!

visit the getting started threads mate to get a good workout and diet

but i personally would not say to diet, no no no, eat more and train heavy is what you need!

Please refrain from text speak I and many others cannot understand it.

Cuiusvis hominis est errare, nullius nisi insipientis in errore perseverare.

But anyway, you need to add mass. You wont get "to big" that will never hapen so dont worry, to get the bicep boy/club look do heavy compounds like squats/clean and press/deadlifts.

Then do exersises like weighted situps, hyperextentions, russian twists, leg rases.

there all good for developing the abdomen. when you have added some muscle then think about reduceing the fat.

Dont rely on suplements, spend the money on real food and sort out the diet.

Agree with above,

When people start training they always jump on the creatine whey protein band wagon. Its not needed at all really. Spend the money on chicken fillets, cans of tuna, oats, milk, eggs etc. These foods WILL add mass if you are training correctly and sleeping enough. Creatine powders and such will only HELP an existing good diet, they are not the basis of one.

Eat big and lift big. Learn how to work out the protein, carb, fat ( good and bad ) and calorie ammounts of what you eat. Once you get in the habit its dead easy. This will help you to know if you are getting enough of everything. Will also help down the line when you want to lose fat.
