Hey guys, after seeing peoples pictures ive noticed that alot of people have a really big upper back and broad shoulders. what are the best excercies to target this area, especially shoulders.

Re: Upper back/Shoulders

Dumbell presses, military presses or push presses for shoulders.

Chinups / pullups + barbell rows or dumbell rows + shrugs for upper back.

Cheers,

G

Re: Upper back/Shoulders

try losing weight around the midsection to create an illusion of width.
Plus the advice above is excellent defo chins and rows

Re: Upper back/Shoulders

Heavy deadlifts and rows for back and any type of heavy overhead press for shoulders.

No need to ever do dumbbell laterals, rear delt isolation or the like.

oohhh dunno about that dude!!

my routine is focused on compound lifts, however lat raises is one of only 3 isolation lifts i do as i feel side delts just dont get hit properly
