Do you have any further info on the notion of 'people generally suffering from low acid levels'?

As I'm sure your aware low stomach acid is rarely diagnosed by the medical comunity, there are two reasons for this;

1. The test for low stomach acid is expensive to perform.
2. The symptoms are stunningly simmilar to high stomach acid.

Then when you add in the pharma companies full weight behind acid contoling medication, wrong diagnosis's happen all over the place. As such the only real research that can be drawn on is the work of current and previous BB gurus, Vince Gironda was on this issue years ago and more recenly a few of the T-Nation coaches are picking up on it.

The treatment for low stomach acid can not be patented by the pharmaceutical companies so there's no money in it. No money equals no studies even when there is genuine clinical need. It's the way the world works.

dont drink too much water with meals as it dilutes the digestive enzymes and prevents nutrient uptake,sip a bit only say 30mins either side of meals
