Can anyone recommend a decent gym near Wimbledon?

As title.

I'm 34 years old and have arms like twigs

I'm looking for a decent gym with good staff that will teach me how to train properly.

TIA.

Re: Can anyone recommend a decent gym near Wimbledon?

I wasn't going to go to a commercial gym mate, but thanks for the confirmation.

I was hoping someone could suggest a semi or proper hardcore place where I can be taught properly.

It's one thing to read a beginner's routine, but it's another to understand how to perform the exercises properly, in what order, with what rest etc. Then diet is a huge issue as well.

I'm prepared to do as I'm told and eat what I'm told but I don't want to waste effort.

I work near Chancery Lane in the City, Muscle Works is only a few stops away on the Central Line. I may go there after work if no-one is forthcoming ;)

If you work in Chancery Lane then try Gymbox in Holborn, has a good crowd there, equipment is good - free weights area is good.
