Re: Best weight to start with?

yeh definitely! you got it sorted mate! one exercise at a time!

when i ordered my bench it took my three days! i couldnt find the instructions!!!!!

then when i had the last piece to attach which was the seat, i found the instructions celetaped underneath it

i actually wanted to hurt myself heheh

sounds all good mate, your metabolism will soon speed up, protein speeds it up by 30%, so as the weeks/days go on yourll find eating more easier

anytime mate, at the end of the day im only passing on what ive learnt here so we are all in the same boat at some point!

hit your quads hard tomoz mate! they are the sexiest muscle in my opinion hehe

Re: Best weight to start with?

I did some leg work on Tuesday and stupidly forgot to warm up my arms/upper body properly. As a result of doing squats and calf raises I imagine, my upper arms and shoulders felt very stiff yesterday. My arms are ok today but there's still a slight discomfort in my shoulders.

Should I hold off until it's feeling ok again? Or am I ok to go on with my routine tonight?

Re: Best weight to start with?

if you feel it will lead to injury then no, sometimes if i got post workout pains still the next day, but i can still workout without discomfort i do

i suppose you really have to decide if they are stiff or painful

Re: Best weight to start with?

Good call. I'll give it a go later on and see. My right shoulder seems to be near enough 100% again now, it's the left one that feels abit uncomfortable. So annoyed with myself, it's all about learning I suppose
