Hey Guys,

What is the exact reason (If any) as to why we get stretch marks when training?

I have them under my armpits, and they seem to be getting worse. Most of the guys in my gym do not have them, and I was wondering why I may have them?

I am using bio oil which is helping.

There a good thing! meens your growing. most have them as badges of honnor - Your get them everywhere eventualy (my legs look like a tree bark lol) but yea the main areas you get them are..

inner thigh, outer thigh, chest, delts, arms, back, stomach.

Mine are all on my inner thighs.

To compound the matter my inner thighs have been rubbed bare of any hair

i dont know if i get stretch marks,
but after my bicep workout i always get bruises on the inside of my left bicep :S
i wouldnt worry about stretch marks tho,
if you have a good physique they will be the last thing people notice (:

You man-beast you. I get them too, mainly on my biceps and shoulders with some on the inner thigh.

under my arms ive gotten them..getting pretty big and purple now though...and i have a couple on the innerthigh..not many yet though

Get them on my thighs and chest doesnt bother me though if it means im growing fast lol

Unfortunetly same problem -.- They look terrible <.< but means your growing fast as fsck!
If they really bother you i do believe a tan would help reduce the visability?
Most recent 1s i got are on my bicep -.-' but hey the strength and growth makes it easier to take xD

Its not a good sign of muscle growth per se

Its a sign you are increasing weight

Like stuff a sauage full of meat and keep going til the outer skin is fcuked...same with stretch marks and getting fat. Majority of people get stretch marks due to additional fat and not muscle so its not always good to see them. slowly steady gains will limit the chance of them
