Cycling to and from gym.

Hey Guys,

I am going to be moving house this weekend, and I will be around 5 miles away from my gym. I wish to stay at this gym as I enjoy it, and I have been thinking about buying a bike and cycling to the gym and back when I train.

I am looking at running my first course in the next month or so, and I was wondering if the cardio from the cycling would maybe help me?

However, how would it affect my strength once I am in the gym?

Should I just drive?

Cheers.

Re: Cycling to and from gym.

Try it and see - not sure anyone can answer that but you as we don't know your fitness levels.

I bike approx 2 miles to the gym and it doesn't effect my training/strength at all.
