![]() | Tip's to keep form strict I was training arms & back today & I was doing standing EZ bar 3 way curls. I was doing starting at the bottom & going 1/2 way up so the elbow was about a right angle & doing 8 reps, then straight away going from 1/2 way to the top for 8 & then doing 8 full curls. I was doing it in front of the mirror so i could see if the bar went wonkey at all & I though I had the form perfect. Though I wasnt getting a great burn in the muscle. An older man came up to me & said to take a bit of weight off & lean with my back on the smith maching whilst doing the curls & not to let my back move off the machine during the set. So I took 3kg off & did it like this & it was amazing the amount of burn I was getting compared to the normal standing 3 way curls. I was really struggling when it got to the end of a set, worse than when I had more weight on. He said my form was alot better & I will definately be training like that again. So I was wondering if there any other exercises that you can adapt to give you better form as after that workout I want everyone to be better like it. So if anyone has any ideas then let me know please. James |

Can definately feel a differance, cuts back on possible injury also. You will see all kinds of bad form when people bench. With a little discipline it will add major poundage to your press. |
