Your Squat should be more than your Bench, and should be more than your SLDL

Re: Current Stats - Any weaknesses

Well i can actually do more on squat, im just working on upping the weight in small incremints so i maintain 100% form.
As my knees use to sort of buckle in and it wasnt good form so im correcting that.

Okay hard to guess really if you're not giving us the correct numbers...

Don't worry about it - just work hard

Re: Current Stats - Any weaknesses

Well, they are the correct numbers, as of last week.
Few things i can keep adding little incremints on each week but im going to reach a platuaue soon in millitary press and bench,
Im up to 48.5kg 5 x 5. Last rep was almost impossible.
Cant see myself going past 50kg 5 x 5.

Nathan - I used to think a 200kg Deadlift was majorly impressive and beyond my reach...

Positive mental attitude my friend....

Re: Current Stats - Any weaknesses

Its hard because i dont have a spotter. And i doubt anybody would stand and spot me for 5 sets.

Do you need a spotter each set? If you are in the rack worse case is you fail a rep. Plenty of people will spot you for a couple of sets if you ask them while they are resting bud.

Re: Current Stats - Any weaknesses

Bodybuilding is very personally goal oriented. Constantly compare yourself to others and you will only be setting yourself up for failure...Time to come out of your shell young skywalker. After my shoulder injury I struggled to bench the bar ( 45 lbs. ) talk about embarrassing and less than a yr. later I massed 205lb.... baby steps

Re: Current Stats - Any weaknesses

I try and never compare myself to people i know.
I have one mate who is very big, strong and has almost no fat on him, he doesnt even eat healthy.
I have another who doesnt even train and it looks like he has been going for years, doesnt even eat healthy.
My other friend is very strong but contains lots of fat.

All of which dont even follow structured routines, just do what they want.

I dont compare myself as some of them dont perform correctly. My middle mate was doing 70kg squats, but was going knowere near para. Id rather squat 50kg and go below para then 70kg and not do it properly.

what he said.

ive seen people who are supposed to be bodybuilders posting youtube links to there 120kg bench.

you realise that they can somehow turn it into a decline and up press with too much delt involvement.

Re: Current Stats - Any weaknesses

Theyre standing ones, not seated.

My squat will go higher, i just dont want to add 20kg plates either side and squat 60kg without doing 50kg and having good form.
